Most of Point Loma's homes were constructed between 1950 and 1980. There are lots of opportunities to own view homes in Point Loma. Point Loma Nazarene University is located in San Diego, San Diego County, CA, and has an enrollment of about 2800. (Three other campuses are located in Mission Viejo, Arcadia and Bakersfield). Student housing is available for 1350.

Four Graduate-level programs include: the M.B.A.; the Master of Arts in Education; the M.A. in Religion and the Master of Ministry. One interesting physical feature of the main campus is its Greek Amphitheatre--the first of its type to be built in the United States. Athletic scholarships are available in basketball, baseball, track/cross country and other sports. The elementary, middle, and high schools listed below are part of the San Diego Unified School District. The last two schools are private institutions.

Point Loma Nazarene College Founded in 1902, this is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. The 90 acre campus is in a suburban area 5 miles southwest of San Diego. Including residence halls, there are 42 buildings. In addition to active fraternities and sororities, there are also over 25 groups and organizations on campus. Campus tours are available.
